بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Al-Fatiha - 1:1
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّـهِ
Praise be to Allah
Al-Fatiha - 1:2
ذَٰلِكَ الْكِتَابُ لَا رَيْبَ ۛ فِيهِ ۛ هُدًى لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ
This is the Scripture whereof there is no doubt, a guidance unto those who ward off (evil)
Al-Baqara - 2:2
خَتَمَ اللَّـهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ وَعَلَىٰ سَمْعِهِمْ ۖ وَعَلَىٰ أَبْصَارِهِمْ غِشَاوَةٌ ۖ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ
Allah hath sealed their hearing and their hearts, and on their eyes there is a covering. Theirs will be an awful doom
Al-Baqara - 2:7
يُخَادِعُونَ اللَّـهَ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَمَا يَخْدَعُونَ إِلَّا أَنفُسَهُمْ وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ
They think to beguile Allah and those who believe, and they beguile none save themselves; but they perceive not
Al-Baqara - 2:9
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ لَا تُفْسِدُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ قَالُوا إِنَّمَا نَحْنُ مُصْلِحُونَ
And when it is said unto them: Make not mischief in the earth, they say: We are peacemakers only
Al-Baqara - 2:11
صُمٌّ بُكْمٌ عُمْيٌ فَهُمْ لَا يَرْجِعُونَ
Deaf, dumb, and blind, they will not return (to the path)
Al-Baqara - 2:18
وَاللَّـهُ مُحِيطٌ بِالْكَافِرِينَ
Allah encompasseth the disbelievers
Al-Baqara - 2:19
إِنَّ اللَّـهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
For Allah hath power over all things
Al-Baqara - 2:20
كَيْفَ تَكْفُرُونَ بِاللَّـهِ وَكُنتُمْ أَمْوَاتًا فَأَحْيَاكُمْ ۖ ثُمَّ يُمِيتُكُمْ ثُمَّ يُحْيِيكُمْ ثُمَّ إِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
How can ye reject the faith in Allah? seeing that ye were without life, and He gave you life; then will He cause you to die, and will again bring you to life; and again to Him will ye return
Al-Baqara - 2:28
وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ
And He is knower of all things
Al-Baqara - 2:29
قَالَ إِنِّي أَعْلَمُ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
Surely I know that which ye know not
Al-Baqara - 2:30
إِنَّهُ هُوَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ
Lo! He is the relenting, the Merciful
Al-Baqara - 2:37
وَلَا تَلْبِسُوا الْحَقَّ بِالْبَاطِلِ وَتَكْتُمُوا الْحَقَّ وَأَنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ
And cover not Truth with falsehood, nor conceal the Truth when ye know (what it is)
Al-Baqara - 2:42
وَأَقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَآتُوا الزَّكَاةَ وَارْكَعُوا مَعَ الرَّاكِعِينَ
And be steadfast in prayer; practise regular charity; and bow down your heads with those who bow down (in worship)
Al-Baqara - 2:43
أَتَأْمُرُونَ النَّاسَ بِالْبِرِّ وَتَنسَوْنَ أَنفُسَكُمْ وَأَنتُمْ تَتْلُونَ الْكِتَابَ ۚ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ
Enjoin ye righteousness upon mankind while ye yourselves forget (to practise it)? And ye are readers of the Scripture! Have ye then no sense?
Al-Baqara - 2:44
وَاسْتَعِينُوا بِالصَّبْرِ وَالصَّلَاةِ ۚ وَإِنَّهَا لَكَبِيرَةٌ إِلَّا عَلَى الْخَاشِعِينَ
Seek help in patience and prayer; and truly it is hard save for the humble-minded
Al-Baqara - 2:45
وَمَا اللَّـهُ بِغَافِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ
Allah is not unaware of what ye do
Al-Baqara - 2:74
وَقَالُوا لَن تَمَسَّنَا النَّارُ إِلَّا أَيَّامًا مَّعْدُودَةً ۚ قُلْ أَتَّخَذْتُمْ عِندَ اللَّـهِ عَهْدًا فَلَن يُخْلِفَ اللَّـهُ عَهْدَهُ ۖ أَمْ تَقُولُونَ عَلَى اللَّـهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
And they say: "The Fire shall not touch us but for a few numbered days:" Say: "Have ye taken a promise from Allah, for He never breaks His promise? or is it that ye say of Allah what ye do not know?"
Al-Baqara - 2:80
وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ أُولَـٰئِكَ أَصْحَابُ الْجَنَّةِ ۖ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ
And those who believe and do good works: such are rightful owners of the Garden. They will abide therein
Al-Baqara - 2:82
وَبِالْوَالِدَيْنِ إِحْسَانًا
Treat with kindness your parents
Al-Baqara - 2:83
وَبِالْوَالِدَيْنِ إِحْسَانًا وَذِي الْقُرْبَىٰ وَالْيَتَامَىٰ وَالْمَسَاكِينِ
treat with kindness your parents and kindred, and orphans and those in need
Al-Baqara - 2:83
وَقُولُوا لِلنَّاسِ حُسْنًا
And speak kindly to mankind
Al-Baqara - 2:83
أَفَتُؤْمِنُونَ بِبَعْضِ الْكِتَابِ وَتَكْفُرُونَ بِبَعْضٍ
Then is it only a part of the Book that ye believe in, and do ye reject the rest?
Al-Baqara - 2:85
أُولَـٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ اشْتَرَوُا الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا بِالْآخِرَةِ
Such are those who buy the life of the world at the price of the Hereafter
Al-Baqara - 2:86
فَلَعْنَةُ اللَّـهِ عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ
The curse of Allah is on disbelievers
Al-Baqara - 2:89
بِئْسَمَا اشْتَرَوْا بِهِ أَنفُسَهُمْ
Evil is that for which they sell their souls
Al-Baqara - 2:90
قَالُوا سَمِعْنَا وَعَصَيْنَا
They said: we hear and we rebel
Al-Baqara - 2:93
وَمَا هُم بِضَارِّينَ بِهِ مِنْ أَحَدٍ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ اللَّـهِ
But they injure thereby no-one save by Allah's leave
Al-Baqara - 2:102
وَاللَّـهُ يَخْتَصُّ بِرَحْمَتِهِ مَن يَشَاءُ
But Allah chooseth for His mercy whom He will
Al-Baqara - 2:105
وَمَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِ اللَّـهِ مِن وَلِيٍّ وَلَا نَصِيرٍ
And ye have not, beside Allah, any guardian or helper?
Al-Baqara - 2:107
وَمَن يَتَبَدَّلِ الْكُفْرَ بِالْإِيمَانِ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ سَوَاءَ السَّبِيلِ
He who chooseth disbelief instead of faith, verily he hath gone astray from a plain road
Al-Baqara - 2:108
وَمَا تُقَدِّمُوا لِأَنفُسِكُم مِّنْ خَيْرٍ تَجِدُوهُ عِندَ اللَّـهِ
And whatever good ye send forth for your souls before you, ye shall find it with Allah
Al-Baqara - 2:110
إِنَّ اللَّـهَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ
Lo! Allah is Seer of what ye do
Al-Baqara - 2:110
بَلَىٰ مَنْ أَسْلَمَ وَجْهَهُ لِلَّـهِ وَهُوَ مُحْسِنٌ فَلَهُ أَجْرُهُ عِندَ رَبِّهِ وَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ
Nay, but whosoever surrendereth his purpose to Allah while doing good, his reward is with his Lord; and there shall no fear come upon them neither shall they grieve
Al-Baqara - 2:112
فَاللَّـهُ يَحْكُمُ بَيْنَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فِيمَا كَانُوا فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ
Allah will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that wherein they differ
Al-Baqara - 2:113
وَلِلَّـهِ الْمَشْرِقُ وَالْمَغْرِبُ ۚ فَأَيْنَمَا تُوَلُّوا فَثَمَّ وَجْهُ اللَّـهِ
To Allah belong the East and the West: Whithersoever ye turn, there is the presence of Allah
Al-Baqara - 2:115
بَل لَّهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۖ كُلٌّ لَّهُ قَانِتُونَ
But whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth is His. All are subservient unto Him
Al-Baqara - 2:116
كُلٌّ لَّهُ قَانِتُونَ
All are subservient unto Him
Al-Baqara - 2:116
بَدِيعُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ
The Originator of the heavens and the earth!
Al-Baqara - 2:117
وَإِذَا قَضَىٰ أَمْرًا فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَهُ كُن فَيَكُونُ
When He decreeth a thing, He saith unto it only: Be! and it is
Al-Baqara - 2:117
قَدْ بَيَّنَّا الْآيَاتِ لِقَوْمٍ يُوقِنُونَ
We have indeed made clear the Signs unto any people who hold firmly to Faith
Al-Baqara - 2:118
إِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ بِالْحَقِّ بَشِيرًا وَنَذِيرًا
Verily We have sent thee in truth as a bearer of glad tidings and a warner
Al-Baqara - 2:119
وَلَن تَرْضَىٰ عَنكَ الْيَهُودُ وَلَا النَّصَارَىٰ حَتَّىٰ تَتَّبِعَ مِلَّتَهُمْ
And the Jews will not be pleased with thee, nor will the Christians, till thou follow their creed
Al-Baqara - 2:120
رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
Our Lord! Accept (this service) from us: For Thou art the All-Hearing, the All-knowing
Al-Baqara - 2:127
إِنَّكَ أَنتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ
Lo! Thou, only Thou, art the Relenting, the Merciful
Al-Baqara - 2:128
إِنَّ اللَّـهَ اصْطَفَىٰ لَكُمُ الدِّينَ فَلَا تَمُوتُنَّ إِلَّا وَأَنتُم مُّسْلِمُونَ
Lo! Allah hath chosen for you the (true) religion; therefore die not save as men who have surrendered (unto Him)
Al-Baqara - 2:132
وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
And He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing
Al-Baqara - 2:137
صِبْغَةَ اللَّـهِ ۖ وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ مِنَ اللَّـهِ صِبْغَةً
(We take our) colour from Allah, and who is better than Allah at colouring
Al-Baqara - 2:138
وَلَنَا أَعْمَالُنَا وَلَكُمْ أَعْمَالُكُمْ وَنَحْنُ لَهُ مُخْلِصُونَ
That we are responsible for our doings and ye for yours; and that We are sincere (in our faith) in Him
Al-Baqara - 2:139
يَهْدِي مَن يَشَاءُ إِلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ
He guideth whom He will unto a straight path
Al-Baqara - 2:142
وَكَذَٰلِكَ جَعَلْنَاكُمْ أُمَّةً وَسَطًا لِّتَكُونُوا شُهَدَاءَ عَلَى النَّاسِ
Thus We have appointed you a middle nation, that ye may be witnesses against mankind
Al-Baqara - 2:143
الَّذِينَ آتَيْنَاهُمُ الْكِتَابَ يَعْرِفُونَهُ كَمَا يَعْرِفُونَ أَبْنَاءَهُمْ ۖ وَإِنَّ فَرِيقًا مِّنْهُمْ لَيَكْتُمُونَ الْحَقَّ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ
Those unto whom We gave the Scripture recognise (this revelation) as they recognise their sons. But lo! a party of them knowingly conceal the truth
Al-Baqara - 2:146
فَاسْتَبِقُوا الْخَيْرَاتِ
Then strive together (as in a race) Towards all that is good
Al-Baqara - 2:148
فَاذْكُرُونِي أَذْكُرْكُمْ وَاشْكُرُوا لِي وَلَا تَكْفُرُونِ
Therefore remember Me, I will remember you. Give thanks to Me, and reject not Me
Al-Baqara - 2:152
إِنَّ اللَّـهَ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ
For Allah is with those who patiently persevere
Al-Baqara - 2:153
وَلَا تَقُولُوا لِمَن يُقْتَلُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّـهِ أَمْوَاتٌ ۚ بَلْ أَحْيَاءٌ وَلَـٰكِن لَّا تَشْعُرُونَ
And call not those who are slain in the way of Allah "dead." Nay, they are living, only ye perceive not
Al-Baqara - 2:154
وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُم بِشَيْءٍ مِّنَ الْخَوْفِ وَالْجُوعِ وَنَقْصٍ مِّنَ الْأَمْوَالِ وَالْأَنفُسِ وَالثَّمَرَاتِ ۗ وَبَشِّرِ الصَّابِرِينَ
Be sure we shall test you with something of fear and hunger, some loss in goods or lives or the fruits (of your toil), but give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere
Al-Baqara - 2:155
الَّذِينَ إِذَا أَصَابَتْهُم مُّصِيبَةٌ قَالُوا إِنَّا لِلَّـهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
Who say, when a misfortune striketh them: Lo! we are Allah's and lo! unto Him we are returning
Al-Baqara - 2:156
وَإِلَـٰهُكُمْ إِلَـٰهٌ وَاحِدٌ ۖ لَّا إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الرَّحْمَـٰنُ الرَّحِيمُ
And your Allah is One Allah: There is no god but He, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Al-Baqara - 2:163
وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَشَدُّ حُبًّا لِّلَّـهِ
But those of Faith are overflowing in their love for Allah
Al-Baqara - 2:165
كَذَٰلِكَ يُرِيهِمُ اللَّـهُ أَعْمَالَهُمْ حَسَرَاتٍ عَلَيْهِمْ
Thus will Allah show them (The fruits of) their deeds as (nothing but) regrets
Al-Baqara - 2:167
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ كُلُوا مِمَّا فِي الْأَرْضِ حَلَالًا طَيِّبًا
O ye people! Eat of what is on earth, Lawful and good
Al-Baqara - 2:168
وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا خُطُوَاتِ الشَّيْطَانِ ۚ إِنَّهُ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ
And follow not the footsteps of the devil. Lo! he is an open enemy for you
Al-Baqara - 2:168
إِنَّ اللَّـهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ
Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful
Al-Baqara - 2:173
إِنَّ اللَّـهَ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ
Lo! Allah is All-Hearing, the All-knowing
Al-Baqara - 2:181
شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ الَّذِي أُنزِلَ فِيهِ الْقُرْآنُ هُدًى لِّلنَّاسِ وَبَيِّنَاتٍ مِّنَ الْهُدَىٰ وَالْفُرْقَانِ
The month of Ramadan in which was revealed the Qur'an, a guidance for mankind, and clear proofs of the guidance, and the Criterion (of right and wrong)
Al-Baqara - 2:185
يُرِيدُ اللَّـهُ بِكُمُ الْيُسْرَ وَلَا يُرِيدُ بِكُمُ الْعُسْرَ
Allah desireth for you ease; He desireth not hardship for you
Al-Baqara - 2:185
أُجِيبُ دَعْوَةَ الدَّاعِ إِذَا دَعَانِ
I answer the prayer of the suppliant when he crieth unto Me
Al-Baqara - 2:186
كَذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللَّـهُ آيَاتِهِ لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَّقُونَ
Thus Allah expoundeth His revelation to mankind that they may ward off (evil)
Al-Baqara - 2:187
وَاتَّقُوا اللَّـهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ
And fear Allah: That ye may prosper
Al-Baqara - 2:189
وَقَاتِلُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّـهِ الَّذِينَ يُقَاتِلُونَكُمْ وَلَا تَعْتَدُوا
Fight in the cause of Allah those who fight you, but do not transgress limits
Al-Baqara - 2:190
إِنَّ اللَّـهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْمُعْتَدِينَ
for Allah loveth not transgressors
Al-Baqara - 2:190
وَالْفِتْنَةُ أَشَدُّ مِنَ الْقَتْلِ
For tumult and oppression are worse than slaughter
Al-Baqara - 2:191
وَأَنفِقُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّـهِ
Spend your wealth for the cause of Allah
Al-Baqara - 2:195
وَأَحْسِنُوا ۛ إِنَّ اللَّـهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِينَ
And do good; for Allah loveth those who do good
Al-Baqara - 2:195
وَاتَّقُوا اللَّـهَ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّـهَ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ
And fear Allah, and know that Allah Is strict in punishment
Al-Baqara - 2:196
فَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يَقُولُ رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَمَا لَهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ مِنْ خَلَاقٍ
There are men who say: "Our Lord! Give us (Thy bounties) in this world!" but they will have no portion in the Hereafter
Al-Baqara - 2:200
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Our Lord! Give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and defend us from the torment of the Fire!
Al-Baqara - 2:201
وَاللَّـهُ سَرِيعُ الْحِسَابِ
Allah is swift at reckoning
Al-Baqara - 2:202
وَاتَّقُوا اللَّـهَ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّكُمْ إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ
Then fear Allah, and know that ye will surely be gathered unto Him
Al-Baqara - 2:203
وَاللَّـهُ رَءُوفٌ بِالْعِبَادِ
And Allah is full of kindness to (His) devotees
Al-Baqara - 2:207
وَإِلَى اللَّـهِ تُرْجَعُ الْأُمُورُ
All cases go back to Allah (for judgment)
Al-Baqara - 2:210
زُيِّنَ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا
Beautified is the life of the world for those who disbelieve
Al-Baqara - 2:212
وَاللَّـهُ يَرْزُقُ مَن يَشَاءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ
For Allah bestows His abundance without measure on whom He will
Al-Baqara - 2:212
وَاللَّـهُ يَهْدِي مَن يَشَاءُ إِلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ
Allah guideth whom He will unto a straight path
Al-Baqara - 2:213
أَلَا إِنَّ نَصْرَ اللَّـهِ قَرِيبٌ
Ah! Verily, the help of Allah is (always) near!
Al-Baqara - 2:214
وَعَسَىٰ أَن تَكْرَهُوا شَيْئًا وَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ ۖ وَعَسَىٰ أَن تُحِبُّوا شَيْئًا وَهُوَ شَرٌّ لَّكُمْ
But it may happen that ye hate a thing which is good for you, and it may happen that ye love a thing which is bad for you
Al-Baqara - 2:216
وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ مَاذَا يُنفِقُونَ قُلِ الْعَفْوَ
They ask thee how much they are to spend; Say: "What is beyond your needs."
Al-Baqara - 2:219
وَاللَّـهُ يَعْلَمُ الْمُفْسِدَ مِنَ الْمُصْلِحِ
But Allah knows the man who means mischief from the man who means good
Al-Baqara - 2:220
إِنَّ اللَّـهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ
Allah is Mighty, Wise
Al-Baqara - 2:220
وَيُبَيِّنُ آيَاتِهِ لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ
And expoundeth His revelations to mankind that haply they may remember
Al-Baqara - 2:221
وَمَن يَتَعَدَّ حُدُودَ اللَّـهِ فَأُولَـٰئِكَ هُمُ الظَّالِمُونَ
For whoso transgresseth Allah's limits: such are wrong-doers
Al-Baqara - 2:229
لَا تُكَلَّفُ نَفْسٌ إِلَّا وُسْعَهَا
No soul shall have a burden laid on it greater than it can bear
Al-Baqara - 2:233
حَافِظُوا عَلَى الصَّلَوَاتِ وَالصَّلَاةِ الْوُسْطَىٰ وَقُومُوا لِلَّـهِ قَانِتِينَ
Be guardians of your prayers, and of the midmost prayer, and stand up with devotion to Allah
Al-Baqara - 2:238
كَذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللَّـهُ لَكُمْ آيَاتِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ
Thus Allah expoundeth unto you His revelations so that ye may understand
Al-Baqara - 2:242
إِنَّ اللَّـهَ لَذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى النَّاسِ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَشْكُرُونَ
For Allah is full of bounty to mankind, but Most of them are ungrateful
Al-Baqara - 2:243
مَّن ذَا الَّذِي يُقْرِضُ اللَّـهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا فَيُضَاعِفَهُ لَهُ أَضْعَافًا كَثِيرَةً
Who is he that will loan to Allah a beautiful loan, which Allah will double unto his credit and multiply many times?
Al-Baqara - 2:245
وَاللَّـهُ يَقْبِضُ وَيَبْسُطُ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
It is Allah that giveth (you) Want or plenty, and to Him shall be your return
Al-Baqara - 2:245
وَاللَّـهُ يُؤْتِي مُلْكَهُ مَن يَشَاءُ
Allah bestoweth His Sovereignty on whom He will
Al-Baqara - 2:247
كَم مِّن فِئَةٍ قَلِيلَةٍ غَلَبَتْ فِئَةً كَثِيرَةً بِإِذْنِ اللَّـهِ ۗ وَاللَّـهُ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ
How oft, by Allah's will, Hath a small force vanquished a big one? Allah is with those who steadfastly persevere
Al-Baqara - 2:249
رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ
Our Lord! Pour out constancy on us and make our steps firm: Help us against those that reject faith
Al-Baqara - 2:250
وَلَوْلَا دَفْعُ اللَّـهِ النَّاسَ بَعْضَهُم بِبَعْضٍ لَّفَسَدَتِ الْأَرْضُ
And did not Allah Check one set of people by means of another, the earth would indeed be full of mischief
Al-Baqara - 2:251
وَلَـٰكِنَّ اللَّـهَ ذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى الْعَالَمِينَ
But Allah is full of bounty to all the worlds
Al-Baqara - 2:251
لَّهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ
Unto Him belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth
Al-Baqara - 2:255
لَا إِكْرَاهَ فِي الدِّينِ
There is no compulsion in religion
Al-Baqara - 2:256
قَد تَّبَيَّنَ الرُّشْدُ مِنَ الْغَيِّ
Truth stands out clear from Error
Al-Baqara - 2:256
فَمَن يَكْفُرْ بِالطَّاغُوتِ وَيُؤْمِن بِاللَّـهِ فَقَدِ اسْتَمْسَكَ بِالْعُرْوَةِ الْوُثْقَىٰ لَا انفِصَامَ لَهَا
Whoever rejects evil and believes in Allah hath grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold, that never breaks
Al-Baqara - 2:256
اللَّـهُ وَلِيُّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا يُخْرِجُهُم مِّنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّورِ
Allah is the Protecting Guardian of those who believe. He bringeth them out of darkness into light
Al-Baqara - 2:257
وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَوْلِيَاؤُهُمُ الطَّاغُوتُ يُخْرِجُونَهُم مِّنَ النُّورِ إِلَى الظُّلُمَاتِ
Of those who reject faith the patrons are the evil ones: from light they will lead them forth into the depths of darkness
Al-Baqara - 2:257
وَاللَّـهُ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ
And Allah does not give guidance to a people unjust
Al-Baqara - 2:258
وَاللَّـهُ يُضَاعِفُ لِمَن يَشَاءُ
Allah giveth manifold increase to whom He pleaseth
Al-Baqara - 2:261
قَوْلٌ مَّعْرُوفٌ وَمَغْفِرَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِّن صَدَقَةٍ يَتْبَعُهَا أَذًى
A kind word with forgiveness is better than almsgiving followed by injury
Al-Baqara - 2:263
يُؤْتِي الْحِكْمَةَ مَن يَشَاءُ
He granteth wisdom to whom He pleaseth
Al-Baqara - 2:269
وَمَن يُؤْتَ الْحِكْمَةَ فَقَدْ أُوتِيَ خَيْرًا كَثِيرًا
And he to whom wisdom is granted receiveth indeed a benefit overflowing
Al-Baqara - 2:269
وَلَـٰكِنَّ اللَّـهَ يَهْدِي مَن يَشَاءُ
But Allah guideth whom He will
Al-Baqara - 2:272
الَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَالَهُم بِاللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ سِرًّا وَعَلَانِيَةً فَلَهُمْ أَجْرُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ وَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ
Those who (in charity) spend of their goods by night and by day, in secret and in public, have their reward with their Lord: on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve
Al-Baqara - 2:274
فَيَغْفِرُ لِمَن يَشَاءُ وَيُعَذِّبُ مَن يَشَاءُ
He forgiveth whom He pleaseth, and punisheth whom He pleaseth
Al-Baqara - 2:284
سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا
We hear, and we obey
Al-Baqara - 2:285
لَا يُكَلِّفُ اللَّـهُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا وُسْعَهَا
On no soul doth Allah Place a burden greater than it can bear
Al-Baqara - 2:286
وَاللَّـهُ عَزِيزٌ ذُو انتِقَامٍ
And Allah is Exalted in Might, Lord of Retribution
Al-e-Imran - 3:4
إِنَّ اللَّـهَ لَا يَخْفَىٰ عَلَيْهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ
Lo! nothing in the earth or in the heavens is hidden from Allah.
Al-e-Imran - 3:5
رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا وَهَبْ لَنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً
Our Lord! Cause not our hearts to stray after Thou hast guided us, and bestow upon us mercy from Thy Presence
Al-e-Imran - 3:8
إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْوَهَّابُ
Surely Thou art the Grantor of bounties without measure
Al-e-Imran - 3:8
إِنَّ اللَّـهَ لَا يُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ
Surely Allah never fails in His promise.
Al-e-Imran - 3:9
وَاللَّـهُ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ
And Allah is severe in punishment.
Al-e-Imran - 3:11
وَاللَّـهُ يُؤَيِّدُ بِنَصْرِهِ مَن يَشَاءُ
And Allah doth support with His aid whom He pleaseth.
Al-e-Imran - 3:13
وَاللَّـهُ بَصِيرٌ بِالْعِبَادِ
And in Allah's sight are (all) His servants.
Al-e-Imran - 3:15
رَبَّنَا إِنَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Our Lord! we have indeed believed: forgive us, then, our sins, and save us from the agony of the Fire.
Al-e-Imran - 3:16
إِنَّ الدِّينَ عِندَ اللَّـهِ الْإِسْلَامُ
The Religion before Allah is Islam (submission to His Will)
Al-e-Imran - 3:19
وَمَن يَكْفُرْ بِآيَاتِ اللَّـهِ فَإِنَّ اللَّـهَ سَرِيعُ الْحِسَابِ
Whoso disbelieveth the revelations of Allah (will find that) lo! Allah is swift at reckoning.
Al-e-Imran - 3:19
فَقُلْ أَسْلَمْتُ وَجْهِيَ لِلَّـهِ وَمَنِ اتَّبَعَنِ
Say: "I have submitted My whole self to Allah and so have those who follow me."
Al-e-Imran - 3:20
قُلِ اللَّـهُمَّ مَالِكَ الْمُلْكِ
Say: O Allah! Owner of Sovereignty!
Al-e-Imran - 3:26
تُؤْتِي الْمُلْكَ مَن تَشَاءُ وَتَنزِعُ الْمُلْكَ مِمَّن تَشَاءُ
Thou givest sovereignty unto whom Thou wilt, and Thou withdrawest sovereignty from whom Thou wilt.
Al-e-Imran - 3:26
وَتُعِزُّ مَن تَشَاءُ وَتُذِلُّ مَن تَشَاءُ
Thou exaltest whom Thou wilt, and Thou abasest whom Thou wilt.
Al-e-Imran - 3:26
بِيَدِكَ الْخَيْرُ
In Thy hand is all good.
Al-e-Imran - 3:26
وَتُخْرِجُ الْحَيَّ مِنَ الْمَيِّتِ وَتُخْرِجُ الْمَيِّتَ مِنَ الْحَيِّ
And Thou bringest forth the living from the dead, and Thou bringest forth the dead from the living.
Al-e-Imran - 3:27
وَتَرْزُقُ مَن تَشَاءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ
And Thou givest sustenance to whom Thou pleasest, without measure.
Al-e-Imran - 3:27
لَّا يَتَّخِذِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ الْكَافِرِينَ أَوْلِيَاءَ مِن دُونِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
Let not the believers take disbelievers for their friends in preference to believers.
Al-e-Imran - 3:28
وَإِلَى اللَّـهِ الْمَصِيرُ
Unto Allah is the journeying.
Al-e-Imran - 3:28
قُلْ إِن تُخْفُوا مَا فِي صُدُورِكُمْ أَوْ تُبْدُوهُ يَعْلَمْهُ اللَّـهُ
Say: "Whether ye hide what is in your hearts or reveal it, Allah knows it all."
Al-e-Imran - 3:29
وَيَعْلَمُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ
And He knoweth that which is in the heavens and that which is in the earth
Al-e-Imran - 3:29
قُلْ إِن كُنتُمْ تُحِبُّونَ اللَّـهَ فَاتَّبِعُونِي يُحْبِبْكُمُ اللَّـهُ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ
Say: "If ye do love Allah, Follow me: Allah will love you and forgive you your sins"
Al-e-Imran - 3:31
أَطِيعُوا اللَّـهَ وَالرَّسُولَ
Obey Allah and His Messenger
Al-e-Imran - 3:32
إِنَّ اللَّـهَ اصْطَفَىٰ آدَمَ وَنُوحًا وَآلَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَآلَ عِمْرَانَ عَلَى الْعَالَمِينَ
Allah did choose Adam and Noah, the family of Abraham, and the family of Imran above all people
Al-e-Imran - 3:33
إِنَّكَ سَمِيعُ الدُّعَاءِ
Lo! Thou art the Hearer of Prayer.
Al-e-Imran - 3:38
اللَّـهُ يَفْعَلُ مَا يَشَاءُ
Allah doeth what He will.
Al-e-Imran - 3:40
إِنَّ اللَّـهَ رَبِّي وَرَبُّكُمْ فَاعْبُدُوهُ
Lo! Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him.
Al-e-Imran - 3:51
رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا بِمَا أَنزَلْتَ وَاتَّبَعْنَا الرَّسُولَ فَاكْتُبْنَا مَعَ الشَّاهِدِينَ
Our Lord! We believe in that which Thou hast revealed and we follow him whom Thou hast sent. Enrol us among those who witness (to the truth).
Al-e-Imran - 3:53
وَمَكَرُوا وَمَكَرَ اللَّـهُ ۖ وَاللَّـهُ خَيْرُ الْمَاكِرِينَ
And they (the disbelievers) schemed, and Allah schemed (against them): and Allah is the best of schemers.
Al-e-Imran - 3:54
وَاللَّـهُ خَيْرُ الْمَاكِرِينَ
And Allah is the best of schemers.
Al-e-Imran - 3:54
وَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ فَيُوَفِّيهِمْ أُجُورَهُمْ
And as for those who believe and do good works, He will pay them their wages in full.
Al-e-Imran - 3:57
فَإِنَّ اللَّـهَ عَلِيمٌ بِالْمُفْسِدِينَ
Allah hath full knowledge of those who do mischief.
Al-e-Imran - 3:63
وَاللَّـهُ يَعْلَمُ وَأَنتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
Allah knoweth. Ye know not.
Al-e-Imran - 3:66
وَاللَّـهُ وَلِيُّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
And Allah is the Protecting Guardian of the believers.
Al-e-Imran - 3:68
وَدَّت طَّائِفَةٌ مِّنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ لَوْ يُضِلُّونَكُمْ
A party of the People of the Scripture long to make you go astray
Al-e-Imran - 3:69
إِنَّ الْهُدَىٰ هُدَى اللَّـهِ
Lo! the guidance is Allah's Guidance
Al-e-Imran - 3:73
فَإِنَّ اللَّـهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُتَّقِينَ
Allah loveth those who ward off (evil).
Al-e-Imran - 3:76
لَن تَنَالُوا الْبِرَّ حَتَّىٰ تُنفِقُوا مِمَّا تُحِبُّونَ
By no means shall ye attain righteousness unless ye give (freely) of that which ye love
Al-e-Imran - 3:92
صَدَقَ اللَّـهُ
Allah speaketh the Truth
Al-e-Imran - 3:95
وَمَن كَفَرَ فَإِنَّ اللَّـهَ غَنِيٌّ عَنِ الْعَالَمِينَ
As for him who disbelieveth, (let him know that) lo! Allah is Independent of (all) creatures.
Al-e-Imran - 3:97
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِن تُطِيعُوا فَرِيقًا مِّنَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ يَرُدُّوكُم بَعْدَ إِيمَانِكُمْ كَافِرِينَ
O ye who believe! If ye obey a party of those who have received the Scripture they will make you disbelievers after your belief.
Al-e-Imran - 3:100
وَمَن يَعْتَصِم بِاللَّـهِ فَقَدْ هُدِيَ إِلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ
He who holdeth fast to Allah, he indeed is guided unto a right path.
Al-e-Imran - 3:101
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّـهَ حَقَّ تُقَاتِهِ وَلَا تَمُوتُنَّ إِلَّا وَأَنتُم مُّسْلِمُونَ
O ye who believe! Fear Allah as He should be feared, and die not except in a state of Islam.
Al-e-Imran - 3:102
وَاعْتَصِمُوا بِحَبْلِ اللَّـهِ جَمِيعًا وَلَا تَفَرَّقُوا
And hold fast, all together, by the rope which Allah (stretches out for you), and be not divided among yourselves
Al-e-Imran - 3:103
وَاذْكُرُوا نِعْمَتَ اللَّـهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ كُنتُمْ أَعْدَاءً فَأَلَّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِكُمْ فَأَصْبَحْتُم بِنِعْمَتِهِ إِخْوَانًا
And remember with gratitude Allah's favour on you; for ye were enemies and He joined your hearts in love, so that by His Grace, ye became brethren
Al-e-Imran - 3:103
وَلْتَكُن مِّنكُمْ أُمَّةٌ يَدْعُونَ إِلَى الْخَيْرِ وَيَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنكَرِ
Let there arise out of you a band of people inviting to all that is good, enjoining what is right, and forbidding what is wrong: They are the ones to attain felicity.
Al-e-Imran - 3:104
وَلَا تَكُونُوا كَالَّذِينَ تَفَرَّقُوا وَاخْتَلَفُوا مِن بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَهُمُ الْبَيِّنَاتُ ۚ وَأُولَـٰئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ
Be not like those who are divided amongst themselves and fall into disputations after receiving Clear Signs: For them is a dreadful penalty
Al-e-Imran - 3:105
وَمَا اللَّـهُ يُرِيدُ ظُلْمًا لِّلْعَالَمِينَ
And Allah means no injustice to any of His creatures.
Al-e-Imran - 3:108
كُنتُمْ خَيْرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاسِ تَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَتَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنكَرِ وَتُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّـهِ
Ye are the best of peoples, evolved for mankind, enjoining what is right, forbidding what is wrong, and believing in Allah.
Al-e-Imran - 3:110
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَتَّخِذُوا بِطَانَةً مِّن دُونِكُمْ لَا يَأْلُونَكُمْ خَبَالًا وَدُّوا مَا عَنِتُّمْ قَدْ بَدَتِ الْبَغْضَاءُ مِنْ أَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَمَا تُخْفِي صُدُورُهُمْ أَكْبَرُ
O ye who believe! Take not for intimates others than your own folk, who would spare no pains to ruin you; they love to hamper you. Hatred is revealed by (the utterance of) their mouths, but that which their breasts hide is greater.
Al-e-Imran - 3:118
إِنَّ اللَّـهَ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ
Allah knoweth well all the secrets of the heart.
Al-e-Imran - 3:119
وَعَلَى اللَّـهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ
In Allah let believers put their trust.
Al-e-Imran - 3:122
وَمَا النَّصْرُ إِلَّا مِنْ عِندِ اللَّـهِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَكِيمِ
There is no help except from Allah. The Exalted, the Wise
Al-e-Imran - 3:126
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَأْكُلُوا الرِّبَا أَضْعَافًا مُّضَاعَفَةً ۖ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّـهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ
O ye who believe! Devour not usury, doubled and multiplied; but fear Allah; that ye may (really) prosper.
Al-e-Imran - 3:130
وَأَطِيعُوا اللَّـهَ وَالرَّسُولَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ
And obey Allah and the messenger, that ye may find mercy.
Al-e-Imran - 3:132
وَسَارِعُوا إِلَىٰ مَغْفِرَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَجَنَّةٍ عَرْضُهَا السَّمَاوَاتُ وَالْأَرْضُ أُعِدَّتْ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ
Be quick in the race for forgiveness from your Lord, and for a Garden whose width is that (of the whole) of the heavens and of the earth, prepared for the righteous
Al-e-Imran - 3:133
وَالَّذِينَ إِذَا فَعَلُوا فَاحِشَةً أَوْ ظَلَمُوا أَنفُسَهُمْ ذَكَرُوا اللَّـهَ فَاسْتَغْفَرُوا لِذُنُوبِهِمْ وَمَن يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا اللَّـهُ وَلَمْ يُصِرُّوا عَلَىٰ مَا فَعَلُوا وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ
And those who, when they do an evil thing or wrong themselves, remember Allah and implore forgiveness for their sins - Who forgiveth sins save Allah only? - and will not knowingly repeat (the wrong) they did.
Al-e-Imran - 3:135
هَـٰذَا بَيَانٌ لِّلنَّاسِ وَهُدًى وَمَوْعِظَةٌ لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ
This is a declaration for mankind, a guidance and an admonition unto those who ward off (evil)
Al-e-Imran - 3:138
وَلَا تَهِنُوا وَلَا تَحْزَنُوا وَأَنتُمُ الْأَعْلَوْنَ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ
Faint not nor grieve, for ye will overcome them if ye are (indeed) believers.
Al-e-Imran - 3:139
إِن يَمْسَسْكُمْ قَرْحٌ فَقَدْ مَسَّ الْقَوْمَ قَرْحٌ مِّثْلُهُ ۚ وَتِلْكَ الْأَيَّامُ نُدَاوِلُهَا بَيْنَ النَّاسِ وَلِيَعْلَمَ اللَّـهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَيَتَّخِذَ مِنكُمْ شُهَدَاءَ ۗ
If ye have received a blow, the (disbelieving) people have received a blow the like thereof. These are (only) the vicissitudes which We cause to follow one another for mankind, to the end that Allah may know those who believe and may choose witnesses from among you
Al-e-Imran - 3:140
وَمَا كَانَ لِنَفْسٍ أَن تَمُوتَ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ اللَّـهِ كِتَابًا مُّؤَجَّلًا
No soul can ever die except by Allah's leave and at a term appointed
Al-e-Imran - 3:145
وَمَا كَانَ قَوْلَهُمْ إِلَّا أَن قَالُوا رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَإِسْرَافَنَا فِي أَمْرِنَا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ
Their cry was only that they said: Our Lord! forgive us for our sins and wasted efforts, make our foothold sure, and give us victory over the disbelieving folk.
Al-e-Imran - 3:147
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِن تُطِيعُوا الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا يَرُدُّوكُمْ عَلَىٰ أَعْقَابِكُمْ فَتَنقَلِبُوا خَاسِرِينَ
O ye who believe! if ye obey those who disbelieve, they will make you turn back on your heels, and ye turn back as losers
Al-e-Imran - 3:149
بَلِ اللَّـهُ مَوْلَاكُمْ ۖ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ النَّاصِرِينَ
But Allah is your Protector, and He is the Best of Helpers
Al-e-Imran - 3:150
وَاللَّـهُ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ
For Allah is well aware of all that ye do
Al-e-Imran - 3:153
إِنَّ اللَّـهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُتَوَكِّلِينَ
Lo! Allah loveth those who put their trust (in Him)
Al-e-Imran - 3:159
إِن يَنصُرْكُمُ اللَّـهُ فَلَا غَالِبَ لَكُمْ ۖ وَإِن يَخْذُلْكُمْ فَمَن ذَا الَّذِي يَنصُرُكُم مِّن بَعْدِهِ
If Allah helps you, none can overcome you: If He forsakes you, who is there, after that, that can help you?
Al-e-Imran - 3:160
وَلِلَّـهِ مِيرَاثُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ
To Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is well-acquainted with all that ye do
Al-e-Imran - 3:180
كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذَائِقَةُ الْمَوْتِ
Every soul shall have a taste of death
Al-e-Imran - 3:185
وَمَا الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا مَتَاعُ الْغُرُورِ
The life of this world is but comfort of illusion
Al-e-Imran - 3:185
وَلِلَّـهِ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ
Unto Allah belongeth the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth
Al-e-Imran - 3:189
إِنَّ فِي خَلْقِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَاخْتِلَافِ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ لَآيَاتٍ لِّأُولِي الْأَلْبَابِ
Behold! in the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the alternation of night and day, there are indeed Signs for men of understanding
Al-e-Imran - 3:190
رَبَّنَا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَكَفِّرْ عَنَّا سَيِّئَاتِنَا وَتَوَفَّنَا مَعَ الْأَبْرَارِ
Our Lord! Forgive us our sins, blot out from us our iniquities, and take to Thyself our souls in the company of the righteous
Al-e-Imran - 3:193
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اصْبِرُوا وَصَابِرُوا وَرَابِطُوا وَاتَّقُوا اللَّـهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ
O ye who believe! Persevere in patience and constancy; vie in such perseverance; strengthen each other; and fear Allah; that ye may prosper
Al-e-Imran - 3:200
وَكَفَىٰ بِاللَّـهِ حَسِيبًا
Allah sufficeth as a Reckoner
An-Nisa - 4:6
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَأْكُلُونَ أَمْوَالَ الْيَتَامَىٰ ظُلْمًا إِنَّمَا يَأْكُلُونَ فِي بُطُونِهِمْ نَارًا ۖ وَسَيَصْلَوْنَ سَعِيرًا
Those who devour the wealth of orphans wrongfully, they do but swallow fire into their bellies, and they will be exposed to burning flame
An-Nisa - 4:10
وَخُلِقَ الْإِنسَانُ ضَعِيفًا
For man was created weak
An-Nisa - 4:28
إِن تَجْتَنِبُوا كَبَائِرَ مَا تُنْهَوْنَ عَنْهُ نُكَفِّرْ عَنكُمْ سَيِّئَاتِكُمْ
If ye avoid the great (things) which ye are forbidden, We will remit from you your evil deeds
An-Nisa - 4:31
وَلَا تَتَمَنَّوْا مَا فَضَّلَ اللَّـهُ بِهِ بَعْضَكُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ
And covet not the thing in which Allah hath made some of you excel others
An-Nisa - 4:32
وَاسْأَلُوا اللَّـهَ مِن فَضْلِهِ
But ask Allah of His bounty
An-Nisa - 4:32
وَمَن يَكُنِ الشَّيْطَانُ لَهُ قَرِينًا فَسَاءَ قَرِينًا
Whoso taketh Satan for a comrade, a bad comrade hath he
An-Nisa - 4:38
وَاللَّـهُ أَعْلَمُ بِأَعْدَائِكُمْ
But Allah hath full knowledge of your enemies
An-Nisa - 4:45
وَكَفَىٰ بِاللَّـهِ وَلِيًّا وَكَفَىٰ بِاللَّـهِ نَصِيرًا
Allah is sufficient as a Guardian, and Allah is sufficient as a Supporter
An-Nisa - 4:45
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَطِيعُوا اللَّـهَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ وَأُولِي الْأَمْرِ مِنكُمْ
O ye who believe! Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger, and those charged with authority among you
An-Nisa - 4:59
فَإِن تَنَازَعْتُمْ فِي شَيْءٍ فَرُدُّوهُ إِلَى اللَّـهِ وَالرَّسُولِ إِن كُنتُمْ تُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّـهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ
And if ye have a dispute concerning any matter, refer it to Allah and the messenger if ye are (in truth) believers in Allah and the Last Day
An-Nisa - 4:59
وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا مِن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا لِيُطَاعَ بِإِذْنِ اللَّـهِ
We sent no messenger save that he should be obeyed by Allah's leave
An-Nisa - 4:64
وَمَن يُطِعِ اللَّـهَ وَالرَّسُولَ فَأُولَـٰئِكَ مَعَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمَ اللَّـهُ عَلَيْهِم مِّنَ النَّبِيِّينَ وَالصِّدِّيقِينَ وَالشُّهَدَاءِ وَالصَّالِحِي
Whoso obeyeth Allah and the messenger, they are with those unto whom Allah hath shown favour, of the prophets and the saints and the martyrs and the righteous
An-Nisa - 4:69
قُلْ كُلٌّ مِّنْ عِندِ اللَّـهِ
Say: "All things are from Allah"
An-Nisa - 4:78
مَّا أَصَابَكَ مِنْ حَسَنَةٍ فَمِنَ اللَّـهِ ۖ وَمَا أَصَابَكَ مِن سَيِّئَةٍ فَمِن نَّفْسِكَ
Whatever good, (O man!) happens to thee, is from Allah; but whatever evil happens to thee, is from thy (own) soul
An-Nisa - 4:79
وَكَفَىٰ بِاللَّـهِ شَهِيدًا
And Allah is sufficient as Witness
An-Nisa - 4:79
مَّن يُطِعِ الرَّسُولَ فَقَدْ أَطَاعَ اللَّـهَ
He who obeys the Messenger, obeys Allah
An-Nisa - 4:80
وَكَفَىٰ بِاللَّـهِ وَكِيلًا
Allah is sufficient as Trustee
An-Nisa - 4:81
وَإِذَا حُيِّيتُم بِتَحِيَّةٍ فَحَيُّوا بِأَحْسَنَ مِنْهَا أَوْ رُدُّوهَا
When a (courteous) greeting is offered you, meet it with a greeting still more courteous, or (at least) of equal courtesy
An-Nisa - 4:86
وَمَن يَقْتُلْ مُؤْمِنًا مُّتَعَمِّدًا فَجَزَاؤُهُ جَهَنَّمُ خَالِدًا فِيهَا وَغَضِبَ اللَّـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَلَعَنَهُ
If a man kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, to abide therein (For ever): And the wrath and the curse of Allah are upon him
An-Nisa - 4:93
وَمَن يُهَاجِرْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّـهِ يَجِدْ فِي الْأَرْضِ مُرَاغَمًا كَثِيرًا وَسَعَةً
He who forsakes his home in the cause of Allah, finds in the earth Many a refuge, wide and spacious
An-Nisa - 4:100
وَاسْتَغْفِرِ اللَّـهَ ۖ إِنَّ اللَّـهَ كَانَ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا
And seek forgiveness of Allah. Lo! Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful
An-Nisa - 4:106
وَمَن يَعْمَلْ سُوءًا أَوْ يَظْلِمْ نَفْسَهُ ثُمَّ يَسْتَغْفِرِ اللَّـهَ يَجِدِ اللَّـهَ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا
Whoso doeth evil or wrongeth his own soul, then seeketh pardon of Allah, will find Allah Forgiving, Merciful
An-Nisa - 4:110
وَمَن يَكْسِبْ إِثْمًا فَإِنَّمَا يَكْسِبُهُ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِهِ
Whoso committeth sin committeth it only against himself
An-Nisa - 4:111
وَمَن يَتَّخِذِ الشَّيْطَانَ وَلِيًّا مِّن دُونِ اللَّـهِ فَقَدْ خَسِرَ خُسْرَانًا مُّبِينًا
Whoso chooseth Satan for a patron instead of Allah is verily a loser and his loss is manifest
An-Nisa - 4:119
يَعِدُهُمْ وَيُمَنِّيهِمْ ۖ وَمَا يَعِدُهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ إِلَّا غُرُورًا
Satan makes them promises, and creates in them false desires; but satan's promises are nothing but deception
An-Nisa - 4:120
وَكَانَ اللَّـهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ مُّحِيطًا
And Allah Encompasseth all things
An-Nisa - 4:126
وَلِلَّـهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ
Unto Allah belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth
An-Nisa - 4:131
إِن يَشَأْ يُذْهِبْكُمْ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ وَيَأْتِ بِآخَرِينَ
If He will, He can remove you, O people, and produce others (in your stead)
An-Nisa - 4:133
وَكَانَ اللَّـهُ سَمِيعًا بَصِيرًا
Allah is ever Hearer, Seer
An-Nisa - 4:134
بَشِّرِ الْمُنَافِقِينَ بِأَنَّ لَهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا
Bear unto the hypocrites the tidings that for them there is a painful doom
An-Nisa - 4:138
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَتَّخِذُوا الْكَافِرِينَ أَوْلِيَاءَ مِن دُونِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
O ye who believe! Choose not disbelievers for (your) friends in place of believers
An-Nisa - 4:144
مَّا يَفْعَلُ اللَّـهُ بِعَذَابِكُمْ إِن شَكَرْتُمْ وَآمَنتُمْ ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّـهُ شَاكِرًا عَلِيمًا
What can Allah gain by your punishment, if ye are grateful and ye believe? Nay, it is Allah that recogniseth (all good), and knoweth all things
An-Nisa - 4:147
لَّا يُحِبُّ اللَّـهُ الْجَهْرَ بِالسُّوءِ مِنَ الْقَوْلِ إِلَّا مَن ظُلِمَ
Allah loveth not the utterance of harsh speech save by one who hath been wronged
An-Nisa - 4:148
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَوْفُوا بِالْعُقُودِ
O ye who believe! Fulfil your indentures
Al-Maeda - 5:1
وَتَعَاوَنُوا عَلَى الْبِرِّ وَالتَّقْوَىٰ ۖ وَلَا تَعَاوَنُوا عَلَى الْإِثْمِ وَالْعُدْوَانِ ۚ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّـهَ
Help ye one another in righteousness and piety, but help ye not one another in sin and rancour. And fear Allah
Al-Maeda - 5:2
فَاعْفُ عَنْهُمْ وَاصْفَحْ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّـهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِي
But forgive them, and overlook (their misdeeds): for Allah loveth those who are kind
Al-Maeda - 5:13
يَهْدِي بِهِ اللَّـهُ مَنِ اتَّبَعَ رِضْوَانَهُ سُبُلَ السَّلَامِ وَيُخْرِجُهُم مِّنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّورِ بِإِذْنِهِ وَيَهْدِيهِمْ إِلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ
Whereby Allah guideth him who seeketh His good pleasure unto paths of peace. He bringeth them out of darkness unto light by His decree, and guideth them unto a straight path
Al-Maeda - 5:16
إِنِّي أَخَافُ اللَّـهَ رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ
Lo! I fear Allah, the Lord of the Worlds
Al-Maeda - 5:28
مَن قَتَلَ نَفْسًا بِغَيْرِ نَفْسٍ أَوْ فَسَادٍ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَكَأَنَّمَا قَتَلَ النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا وَمَنْ أَحْيَاهَا فَكَأَنَّمَا أَحْيَا النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا
Whosoever killeth a human being for other than manslaughter or corruption in the earth, it shall be as if he had killed all mankind, and whoso saveth the life of one, it shall be as if he had saved the life of all mankind
Al-Maeda - 5:32
فَمَن تَابَ مِن بَعْدِ ظُلْمِهِ وَأَصْلَحَ فَإِنَّ اللَّـهَ يَتُوبُ عَلَيْهِ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّـهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ
But whoso repenteth after his wrongdoing and amendeth, lo! Allah will relent toward him. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful
Al-Maeda - 5:39
فَلَا تَخْشَوُا النَّاسَ وَاخْشَوْنِ
So fear not mankind, but fear Me
Al-Maeda - 5:44
وَمَن لَّمْ يَحْكُم بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللَّـهُ فَأُولَـٰئِكَ هُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ
Whoso judgeth not by that which Allah hath revealed: such are evil-livers
Al-Maeda - 5:47
لِكُلٍّ جَعَلْنَا مِنكُمْ شِرْعَةً وَمِنْهَاجًا
For each We have appointed a divine law and a traced-out way
Al-Maeda - 5:48
وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللَّـهُ لَجَعَلَكُمْ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً وَلَـٰكِن لِّيَبْلُوَكُمْ فِي مَا آتَاكُمْ
Had Allah willed He could have made you one community. But that He may try you by that which He hath given you (He hath made you as ye are)
Al-Maeda - 5:48
فَاسْتَبِقُوا الْخَيْرَاتِ
So strive as in a race in all virtues
Al-Maeda - 5:48
وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ مِنَ اللَّـهِ حُكْمًا لِّقَوْمٍ يُوقِنُونَ
Who is better than Allah for judgment to a people who have certainty (in their belief)?
Al-Maeda - 5:50
مَنْ آمَنَ بِاللَّـهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا فَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ
Any who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and work righteousness, on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve
Al-Maeda - 5:69
قُلْ أَتَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّـهِ مَا لَا يَمْلِكُ لَكُمْ ضَرًّا وَلَا نَفْعًا
Say: Serve ye in place of Allah that which possesseth for you neither hurt nor use?
Al-Maeda - 5:76
وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَكَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا أُولَـٰئِكَ أَصْحَابُ الْجَحِيمِ
But those who disbelieve and deny Our revelations, they are owners of hell-fire
Al-Maeda - 5:86
وَكُلُوا مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ اللَّـهُ حَلَالًا طَيِّبًا
Eat of that which Allah hath bestowed on you as food lawful and good
Al-Maeda - 5:88
مَّا عَلَى الرَّسُولِ إِلَّا الْبَلَاغُ
The duty of the messenger is only to convey (the message)
Al-Maeda - 5:99
قُل لَّا يَسْتَوِي الْخَبِيثُ وَالطَّيِّبُ وَلَوْ أَعْجَبَكَ كَثْرَةُ الْخَبِيثِ
Say: "Not equal are things that are bad and things that are good, even though the abundance of the bad may dazzle thee
Al-Maeda - 5:100
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّـهِ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَجَعَلَ الظُّلُمَاتِ وَالنُّورَ
Praise be Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth, and made the darkness and the light
Al-Anaam - 6:1
قُلْ سِيرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ ثُمَّ انظُرُوا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُكَذِّبِي
Say: "Travel through the earth and see what was the end of those who rejected Truth
Al-Anaam - 6:11
كَتَبَ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِهِ الرَّحْمَةَ
He hath prescribed for Himself mercy
Al-Anaam - 6:12
وَمَا الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا لَعِبٌ وَلَهْوٌ ۖ وَلَلدَّارُ الْآخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لِّلَّذِينَ يَتَّقُونَ
What is the life of this world but play and amusement? But best is the home in the hereafter, for those who are righteous
Al-Anaam - 6:32
وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللَّـهُ لَجَمَعَهُمْ عَلَى الْهُدَىٰ
If Allah willed, He could have brought them all together to the guidance
Al-Anaam - 6:35
الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَلَمْ يَلْبِسُوا إِيمَانَهُم بِظُلْمٍ أُولَـٰئِكَ لَهُمُ الْأَمْنُ وَهُم مُّهْتَدُونَ
Those who believe and did not tarnish their faith with wrong-doing for them there is security, and it is they who have been guided to the right way
Al-Anaam - 6:82
فَمَنْ أَبْصَرَ فَلِنَفْسِهِ ۖ وَمَنْ عَمِيَ فَعَلَيْهَا
So whoso seeth, it is for his own good, and whoso is blind is blind to his own hurt
Al-Anaam - 6:104
كَذَٰلِكَ زَيَّنَّا لِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ عَمَلَهُمْ
Thus have We made alluring to each people its own doings
Al-Anaam - 6:108
كَذَٰلِكَ زَيَّنَّا لِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ عَمَلَهُمْ
Thus have We made alluring to each people its own doings
